Quick start

This guide takes you from zero to a published page. You will sign in, create your first website, choose a theme, build a page in the visual builder, and publish it live.

1. Sign up or log in

  1. Open the app and create an account, or log in if you already have one.
  2. After signing in you land on your dashboard at /dashboard.

If your account is brand new and your owner has no website capacity left, you may be prompted to add capacity. See Plans and subscriptions and your plan details for limits.

2. Create your first website

  1. Go to Websites in the dashboard (/dashboard/websites).
  2. Click New website (or Create website on the empty state).
  3. Fill in:
    • Name – the display name, for example "Acme Studio".
    • Slug – the URL-friendly identifier, for example "acme-studio". The field cleans your input automatically (lowercase, hyphens only).
    • Owner – choose who owns the site. This can be you (Personal) or an organization you belong to. Each owner has its own website limit.
  4. Click Create website.

You are taken into the website workspace at /dashboard/websites/{slug}. From here you manage pages, posts, forms, media, themes, and settings for this one site.

If the selected owner is full, pick another owner or, if you manage billing, click Add capacity to buy more website slots.

3. Pick a theme

Themes control your site's colors, fonts, spacing, and page defaults.

  1. In the website workspace, open Themes (/dashboard/websites/{slug}/themes).
  2. Click a theme card to open its details.
  3. Click Apply to activate it for this website.
  4. To customize it, open the theme and click Edit to adjust colors, fonts, density, radius, and page defaults.

For a deeper look, see Themes if available, or browse the theme cards to compare options.

4. Add a page in the builder

  1. Open Pages (/dashboard/websites/{slug}/pages).
  2. Click New page (or Create your first page) to open the visual builder.
  3. In the builder, add sections from the section panel and edit their content directly on the canvas.
  4. Your changes save automatically as a draft. Watch the toolbar for status:
    • Unsaved changes – your edit is being saved.
    • Changes not published yet – your draft is saved but not live.
    • Not published – this page has no live version yet.

Preview before publishing

Use the Preview button in the toolbar to open your draft in a new view. Previewing never affects the live site. The label changes to Preview draft when you have unpublished changes.

5. Publish your page

  1. In the builder toolbar, click Publish (or Publish changes if a live version already exists).
  2. The button shows Publishing... while it works, then your page goes live.
  3. To take a page offline later, click Unpublish in the same toolbar.

Your website card on /dashboard/websites shows a Published or Draft badge so you can see status at a glance.

What to do next

  • Set a home page: in the Pages list, open the page menu and choose Set as home page.
  • Add more content: create Posts, Forms, and upload images in Media from the workspace sidebar.
  • Adjust site details: open Settings (/dashboard/websites/{slug}/settings) to update branding and configuration.
  • Translate a page: use the Translate option in a page's menu if your site supports multiple locales.
