Licensing
If your plan includes licensed products, this page is where you manage them. You can see your license keys, control which sites each license is activated on, and download the latest release. Find it at Settings → Licenses (/settings/licenses).
When licensing is available
Licensing is an optional feature. It is turned on per installation, so you will only see the Licenses page if your provider has enabled it and you hold at least one license.
Licenses appear here automatically. A qualifying purchase or a manually issued license shows up with its key, downloads, and site activations already set. You do not create licenses yourself.
If you have no licenses yet, the page explains what happens next and links you to Browse plans so you can pick a plan that includes a licensed product.
Reading a license
Each license is shown as a card with everything you need at a glance:
- Product name and status. The status badge reads
active, suspended, revoked, disabled, orexpired. Only active, eligible licenses can download updates. - Renewal or lifetime. The card shows the next renewal date, or "Lifetime license" if it never expires.
- Seats. The seat meter shows how many sites you have activated out of your limit (or "Unlimited"). When the meter turns amber, all seats are in use.
Viewing and copying the key
Your license key is masked by default, showing only the first and last groups.
- Select Reveal to show the full key. Select Hide to mask it again.
- Select Copy key to copy the full key to your clipboard. A "Copied" confirmation appears briefly.
Treat your key like a password. Anyone with it can activate your product.
Downloading the latest release
When a release is available and your license is eligible, the card shows a Latest version panel with the version number, and (when published) the file size and a SHA-256 checksum so you can verify your download.
- Select Download {version} to get the file.
If no download appears, you will see one of two messages:
- No downloadable release published yet. Your license is fine; there is just nothing to download right now. Check back later.
- A status message. If the license is suspended, revoked, disabled, or expired, downloads are paused. Resolve the billing issue or renew to restore access. See Subscription and Billing.
Activating a site
Each active site uses one seat. To activate a site from this page:
- In the Active sites section, select Activate a site.
- Enter the site identifier (for example,
example.com). - Select Activate.
The site appears in the list with a green dot. You can also activate directly from inside the product itself.
The Activate a site button is hidden when all your seats are in use. To free up a seat, deactivate a site you no longer need.
Deactivating a site
When you move a license to a different site, deactivate the old one first to free its seat.
- Find the site in the Active sites list.
- Select Deactivate next to it.
The seat is released immediately and becomes available for a new activation.
Troubleshooting
- The Licenses page is missing. Licensing is not enabled on your installation, or you do not hold a license. Contact your provider if you expect one.
- I cannot activate another site. Your seats are full. Deactivate an unused site, or upgrade to a plan with more seats.
- Downloads are blocked. Check the license status badge. A suspended, revoked, or expired license cannot download until the underlying billing or renewal issue is resolved.
