Introduction to agencms

agencms is a white-label website builder and content management system (CMS) built for agencies and the clients they serve. You build, host, and manage multiple websites from one dashboard, then hand finished sites over to clients or keep managing them yourself.

#What agencms is

agencms combines a visual page builder with a full CMS. Every project lives as its own website, and each website has its own pages, content, forms, and theme. You work on as many sites as your plan allows without leaving the app.

Because it is multi-tenant, your work stays cleanly separated. A website can be owned by you personally or by an organization, so an agency team and an individual freelancer can both use the same tools with their own billing and ownership.

Because it is white-label, the sites you publish carry your branding (and your clients' branding), not ours.

#What you can build

Each website you create comes with a set of building blocks. From a website's workspace you can manage:

• Pages — composed visually in the builder from ready-made sections.
• Templates — reusable layouts for pages and posts so your site stays consistent.
• Forms — submission forms with handlers to capture leads and messages.
• Post Types — content types such as blog posts or products.
• Posts — the individual entries, with translations and previews.
• Themes — fonts, colors, and default templates that set the look of the site.
• Redirects — rules for moving or renaming paths without breaking links.
• Custom Code — snippets, scripts, CSS, and structured data when you need them.

You can build anything from a simple marketing site to a blog or a product catalog, then publish it live when it is ready. Until then it stays a draft.

#How you get around

A few places are worth knowing from the start:

1. Dashboard at /dashboard is your home base. It lists your websites, shows quick stats, and lets you jump straight into the builder or create a new site.
2. Website workspace at /dashboard/websites/{website} is where you manage one site. From here you reach pages, templates, forms, post types, posts, themes, redirects, and custom code.
3. Account settings at /settings is where you manage your profile, subscription, and billing context.

When you open a website, a site readiness checklist helps you see which setup steps are still left, so you always know what to do next.
